The Five Rarity Tiers — Value & Trade Multipliers

Every pet in Adopt Me belongs to one of five rarity tiers. The higher the rarity, the harder the pet is to obtain and the more valuable it is on the marketplace. Each tier also has variant multipliers — FR (Fly-Ride), NFR (Neon Fly-Ride), and MFR (Mega Neon Fly-Ride) versions are worth significantly more than Normal.

Common Market value: Lowest FR ×1.5 · NFR ×2.0 · MFR ×2.5

Commons are widely available and primarily valuable in Neon or Mega Neon form. A Mega Neon Common requires 16 Full-Grown pets and significant time investment, so fused versions trade well above their Normal counterparts. Good starting point for building trade value.

Uncommon Market value: Low FR ×1.5 · NFR ×2.2 · MFR ×3.0

Uncommon pets form the backbone of beginner trading. Popular Uncommons (Dalmatian, Hyena, Wolf) can trade upward toward Rares. NFR and MFR variants have noticeably better value — worth prioritising when flipping.

Rare Market value: Moderate FR ×1.8 · NFR ×2.5 · MFR ×3.5

Rares sit at the entry level of serious trading. Iconic Rares like the Flamingo, Horse, and Penguin maintain strong demand. FR and NFR variants at this tier represent solid mid-tier flip targets with good liquidity.

Ultra-Rare Market value: High FR ×2.0 · NFR ×3.0 · MFR ×4.5

Ultra-Rares are the most actively traded tier. They sit between Legendary (scarce supply) and Rare (high supply) — a sweet spot where demand is strong and flipping margins are reliable. NFR Ultra-Rares are especially liquid on the marketplace.

Limited Legendaries (Shadow Dragon, Bat Dragon, Giraffe, Frost Dragon) can no longer be hatched — all supply comes from existing holders. This hard cap on supply, combined with sustained demand, makes them consistently appreciate over time. They command the highest prices on the marketplace.

How FR / NFR / MFR Multipliers Work

A pet's variant is as important as its rarity tier when it comes to trading value:

Normal — the base form. Every pet starts here. Lowest trade value within a tier.
FR (Fly-Ride) — can both fly and ride. Worth roughly 1.5–2.5× a Normal of the same pet.
NFR (Neon Fly-Ride) — fused from 4× FR pets. A significant jump in value, especially at Legendary tier.
MFR (Mega Neon Fly-Ride) — fused from 4× NFR pets (16× FR pets total). The most prestigious form. Top prices on the marketplace.

For Limited Legendaries, MFR multipliers are especially dramatic. A Normal Shadow Dragon and an MFR Shadow Dragon can differ by 5–6× in price — always check the variant when comparing listings.

Why Limited Legendaries Hold Value

Limited Legendaries (Shadow Dragon, Bat Dragon, Giraffe, Frost Dragon, Owl, and others) are no longer available from any egg — all existing supply comes from players who already own them. This means:

Supply is fixed. No new Shadow Dragons enter the game. Every year, some are lost to inactive accounts, reducing the trading pool.
