✨ The Neon Cave is where pet fusions happen in Adopt Me. This is where you bring Full Grown pets to create Neons, and Neon pets to create Mega Neons. This guide covers the location, the mechanics, and a complete step-by-step walkthrough.
Where to Find the Neon Cave
The Neon Cave is one of the landmark locations in Adopt Me's main map. To find it:
- Spawn in the main Adopt Me world
- Head toward the bridge that spans across the water in the map
- Look underneath the bridge — the Neon Cave entrance is set into the ground or the cliff face below the bridge
- You'll recognise it by its glowing, colourful entrance — the cave radiates neon light even from a distance
- Walk into the entrance to enter the fusion chamber
The cave is a permanent fixture of the map and is available to all players at all times. There is no special requirement to enter — any player can walk in.
Inside the Neon Cave — The Fusion Circles
The interior of the Neon Cave is a glowing chamber with four circular platforms arranged on the ground, each radiating neon light. These are the fusion circles where pets are placed for fusion.
The chamber also contains a central display or prompt that shows you what the fusion will produce once all four circles are filled. This lets you confirm you're making the right pet before committing.
Step-by-Step: Performing a Neon Fusion
- Prepare 4 identical Full Grown pets — they must all be the same species and all must be at the Full Grown age stage
- Enter the Neon Cave — walk under the bridge to the glowing entrance and go inside
- Approach the first circle — walk up to it and interact (click/tap). A pet selection screen opens showing your eligible Full Grown pets
- Select the pet to place — choose one of your 4 identical Full Grown pets
- Repeat for all 4 circles — place one pet in each circle until all four are filled
- Review the fusion preview — the cave shows you what Neon pet will be created
- Confirm the fusion — accept the confirmation prompt. The 4 pets are consumed and your Neon pet is created
Step-by-Step: Performing a Mega Neon Fusion
The Mega Neon process is identical to the Neon process — but instead of placing Full Grown pets in the circles, you place Neon pets:
- Prepare 4 identical Neon pets (each made from 4 Full Grown pets)
- Enter the Neon Cave
- Place one Neon pet in each of the 4 circles
- Review the Mega Neon preview
- Confirm — the 4 Neons are consumed and one Mega Neon is created
Common Questions About the Neon Cave
- Can I cancel after placing pets in circles? — Yes. You can exit the cave before confirming the fusion and your pets will remain in your inventory unchanged. The fusion only happens when you confirm.
- Can I mix species? — No. All 4 pets must be identical species. The game will not allow you to place different species in the circles.
- Does variant matter? — All 4 pets must be the same species, but their individual variants (Normal, FR, etc.) do not need to match — any combination is eligible for fusion.
